Can I use Alma Travel Mat at home?

Absolutely. The mat is designed to be used everywhere. At home you can use it by itself or on top of the carpet - the natural rubber underneath keep the mat from moving around. The mats don't require much storage. Beautiful designs inspire you to practice more often. Tip: Have it behind your desk and you'll be surprised how many times you end stretching on the mat during your work day.

How to clean the mat?

Signature Alma Travel Yoga Mat is machine washable. Yes, you read it right :) We wanted to make sure you can clean your mat thoroughly to avoid an army of bacteria, (which is usually collected on every yoga mat) to sabotage the hygiene of your practice. When you feel like your mat needs to be refreshed, throw it by itself in the washing machine (cold water, gentle cycle) and hang it to dry.

Cork mats have an antibacterial surface and can be cleaned with a warm clothes or special spray.

What can I use Alma Travel Yoga Mat for?

Alma Mat is designed for all types of Yoga - Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power, Hatha, Hot Yoga, etc., as well as for any other fitness activities - Pilates, Barre, HIIT or general exercise. Also you can use it for hiking to have something to sit on. 

Where can I practice with Alma Travel Yoga Mat?

You can use Alma Travel Mat on every surface - in the park, on the beach, on the carpet in the hotel room, on top of the old mat, on the floor or even on a yacht and, of course, at home.

The mat has good traction when dry, but becomes even more grippy, when wet. If you feel you need some extra grip - just spray a bit of water on it.

I have a Travel Mat from other brand, but I still need to buy a towel, which takes additional space

With Alma Travel Mat you don't need to buy a towel.

The top of the mat has a beautiful microfiber with an extra grip surface, which absorbs sweat and functions like a towel during your sweaty practice. No more taking any extra space and no more towel bunching or moving around during your practice!
